Looseness or Steering Play in some vehicle steering systems can often be attributed to a component known as a bell crank or idler, which supports the steering linkage.
Original equipment designs utilize common sleeve bushings, which often wear out prematurely and cannot be adjusted for side play. In contrast, the SuperSteer bell cranks/idlers utilize tapered roller bearings, which are far better at carrying load. They can also be adjusted to achieve precise movement.

Greatly improved steering ! Much tighter feel2024 GMC 2500 AT4 w/ Cognito Elite 4” Elka shocks and comfort torsion bars. Prior to having Supersteer, the truck would wear you out driving it. You would have to Constantly move steering wheel back and forth just to go straight. City traffic in 3 lanes w/ road construction definitely required focus. Decided to try this and after driving with it would definitely recommend. Much tighter than OE. My son said it drives like a car now . Truck had about 4500 miles on it.
