Shipping companies and third-party product suppliers are behind schedule due to COVID-19, which may cause delays affecting delivery of your purchased item(s).

FREE Shipping Policy
We offer free "standard ground" shipping for purchases of Cognito branded products destined for delivery within the contiguous United States, with some exceptions.
There are specific products and bundled products that are classified as "oversized" or "overweight" and require LTL or "truck freight" shipping service to arrive safely. While these products are subject to a separate shipping charge, the actual shipping service is provided free of charge. All "residential" LTL shipments or commercial deliveries requiring liftgate service are subject to a $120 flat service fee.
Free standard shipping is limited on third party products, to limits of four (4) per order. All products above that quantity are subject to a small shipping fee.
Depending upon shipment destination and size of order, different shipping methods are available. Ask your salesperson for available options, and to confirm products that are subject to additional fees.
We ship via LTL common carriers, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. For expedited shipping please call us.
Terms of Sale are FOB our warehouse located in the 93308 Zip code; shipping charges are included on all invoices. Title of the shipment transfers to the recipient upon acceptance of the shipment by the carrier. Recipients are responsible to examine contents of all packages when received. In the rare situation that you experience damage in your shipment, please be sure to note it on the delivery paperwork you sign and contact us as soon as possible.
Upon the arrival of your order, If the carton is obviously severely damaged, please refuse the shipment from the freight company. Even if you see no obvious shipping damage when signing for freight, always write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION". You are then covered, even if damages are found later inside the boxes. Even when no damage is suspected, open the carton(s) within 24 hours and make a thorough inspection of contents. If the damage is concealed please call the transportation carrier for inspection of damaged goods. All original shipping materials, pallets, cartons, and containers must be saved for inspection by a representative of the carrier. We will arrange for a replacement or replacement parts after the recipient's claim has been filed and settled. We will take the quickest route to assist in resolving the situation. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage that occurs during transit. You are responsible for cooperating with the return of the item. We make no guarantee of expressed or implied delivery time.
Delivery outside Contiguous USA:Duties, taxes, tariffs, and brokerage fees are not included in our shipping costs and are the customer's responsibility. Most international orders require the customer to use a freight forwarding company in the United States. Orders can be placed by calling us directly or online through our e-commerce platform (order information will be sent to you via email once the order process has been successfully completed).

You can also call 866-426-4648 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or email [email protected] Products will not be accepted without prior return authorization. The product must be returned to Cognito within 30 calendar days from original shipment date. Custom product or product that has been installed or abused may not be returned under any circumstances. For all other products, if the item is returned in the original packaging, in unused condition, we will exchange it or provide you a refund based on your original method of payment. All products must be packed in the original packaging including any accessories that may have been included with the product. Mark all boxes and paperwork with RMA number. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable. Additional fees will be charged for any product not in salable condition.
Cognito will not accept any warranty claims or returns without an RMA number. To obtain an RMA number, fax or email your proof of purchase (invoice or packing slip showing where and when you purchased, and the invoice or sales order number) to 661-588-8295 or [email protected], along with a short, written description of the problem and a request for an RMA number.
You will receive a response within three business days with an RMA number or a request for more information needed prior to issuing an RMA. Once you receive an RMA number, ship only the component in question to Cognito with the RMA number clearly marked on the box and the shipping label. If the product arrives with no RMA number marked on the OUTSIDE of the box on or next to the shipping label, it will be refused.

For warranty claims, Cognito will inspect the product received with an RMA number within 10 days to determine whether the warranty covers the product. If the product shows neglect, abuse, or damage from shipping, the warranty may not cover the product.
Tax: 8.25 % for orders shipped to CA
Sales tax may be applicable to out-of-state orders.
