Easy to install, looks good...should have jumped straight to 4"

This is nothing against Cognito or this lift. But if you are on the fence about what your goal is, I would highly consider going straight to the 4" lift. This lift combined with 20x9 +/-0 offset and 35 12.5 20 Cooper ST MAXX still rubs.

The kit overall was easy to install, and was completed with basic shop tools. I did not need the torsion bar tool, as mine (like others before me) were loose once the bolt was removed.

Cutting the service perch was easy enough, I used a Kobalt miniature saws-all. Watch the brake lines!

Alignment was easy and the technician stated that it was near perfect, according to the instructions.

The Fox 2.0s are stiff, but a HUGE improvement over the Rancho's that came on the truck. All of the drooping and galloping over bridges and speed bumps is gone. They are a bit harsh, but it is a TRUCK!

I will likely be ordering the 4" lift to supplement this kit.

I have a 2020 Silverado 2500, it has the Z71 package with the rancho shocks, will these fox shocks have the same or if not better ride quality than the rancho shocks I have now?

Hi Camden, Yes, the shocks in this kit are far superior to the OEM shocks, including the Rancho. Although GM uses the Rancho shocks as a selling point, they really aren't much better than the standard OEM shocks.

Hi Alex, There isn't an issue running the factory wheel. You just have to be mindful of the tire you choose. In many cases, a 1/4" wheel spacer is required to clear the tire.

Hi Chadwick, Unfortunately, you cannot get that wide of a wheel with that much offset. There would be extensive trimming and would need to cut into the cab corner.

Hi Chris, We recommend 9” wide wheel with +18mm offset (5-3/4” backspace) to minimize trimming with a 35x12.5” tire. There will be no metal to trim, but there will be plastic to trim and the inner fender liner to trim which is pretty easy. We also recommend...

Hi Ricky, We've seen guys put 35's on factory wheels. You can't run a tire wider than stock on the factory wheel without a wheel spacer. 1/4" spacer usually does the trick.

Hi Derek, People have done it. You will need a small wheel spacer in the front to keep the tire off the control arm. There will be some trimming of the inner fender well required.

I love my stock 18" Black wheels! I don't want to go bigger than a 35. What size wheel spacer will I need to accommodate a 11.5 or 12.5 wide Tire? Hi Rusty, Usually a 1/4" spacer will do the trick. You can get them on Amazon, and they are inexpensive. We typically don't go any wider than 11.5 on the factory wheel.
