Cognito 1-Inch Standard Leveling Kit for 19-25 Silverado Trail Boss & ZR2 / Sierra AT4 & AT4X 1500 4WD

I purchased this kit to level out my 2022 GMC AT4. It leveled it out perfectly and I was able to change the wheels and tires from 275/65/18 to a 295/70/17 with no rub issues and no fender mods at all. Installation was straight forward. Just need to be careful when compressing the springs. Couldn't be happier!

Kit installed without issue. Frontend aligned perfectly per GMC specs. These tubular control arms are beefy. Unlike Readylift, there are no restrictions on the use of 4 Auto or 4 Hi. Went with the std level kit, as I did not want to cut off service perch. Achieved exactly 1" of lift in front. Vehicle is 1/2" lower in the front than in back at top of fender, (not perfectly level) which is exactly what I wanted.

This kit is actually engineered to enhance the vehicles performance and increases wheel travel/droop. It works, I have noticed a much more controlled ride on bumpy roads. Kit allows use of 20x9 wheels with 5.5 " backspacing with 33x12.50 tires with absolutely no rubbing and no trimming necessary.

What I would add to improve kit. Threaded bolts on upper control arms to retain stock brake lines and brackets rather than zip ties. Rubber bushings instead of polyurethane bushings for a complete maintenance free system.

In my opinion, this company doesn't just design their kits to raise a vehicle and look cool. If you look closely at this kit you notice that the engineers at Cognito went to great lengths to preserve and improve areas of the OEM engineering while giving it a more level ride.
