Overview:
The Cognito dual shock hoop kit is designed to run two shocks on each front corner of the vehicle. Normally, there is no shock run in the factory location when running the dual hoop kit, as three shocks per corner is just too much dampening. The kit bolts on to the frame rails and the factory shock mount to make for a rigid mounting location for the front shocks. The hoops provide the upper mount for the dual shocks, and when running a replacement spindle kit, the Cognito Tubular Upper Control Arm kit must also be used which has the lower dual shock mount built in. Shocks used with the shock hoop and control arm system are from 18.5” to 19.5” fully extended length.

The Cognito Dual Shock Hoop Kit is a 1-hour installation. We suggest you have a professional shop install this kit, but if you are mechanically inclined, read the instructions and determine if you want to take the job on.
